As Princess Park College celebrates its 30th anniversary, It is with great pride that we look back on our journey thus far. Over the years, our school has grown from strength to strength, and we have remained true to our founding principles of providing quality education at an affordable rate.

Princess Park College was established in January 1993 by the late Dr BJ Fourie.

Dr. Fourie had the vision to provide quality education at the most affordable rates to learners in post-apartheid South Africa. Dr Fourie had many years of experience in the South African Educational industry and he was passionate about educating the youth of South Africa in order for them to achieve their full potential and to make a difference to our country.

Over the years this vision has turned into a reality… The school started in Visagie Street with 41 high school learners and 7 teachers, but had to move to bigger premises in January 1995 when a Primary school was added. In July 2000 a new Primary school started in Rosslyn. It was registered at the Department of Education as Princess Park College Rosslyn and learners from Gr. RR – 7 were enrolled.

A new High school was registered in June 2005 and learners from Gr. 8 – 10 were registered. In 2007 the first Gr.12 learners were registered. Princess Park College was initiated against the background of the shortcomings of the past educational system.

The school was founded on the basic Christian principles of love for God and His creation and love for one another. The learners are educated with this in mind to cope with the very demanding future that lies ahead. We believe our first responsibility is to the youth of South Africa.

Over the years, our learners have achieved great success both academically and in their personal lives. Many of our alumni have gone on to excel in various fields, and we are proud to have played a role in their success.

As we look to the future, we are committed to continuing to provide quality education to learners from all walks of life. We are constantly looking for ways to improve and to adapt to the changing needs of our learners.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank our staff, parents, learners, and the wider community for their support over the years. We could not have achieved all that we have without their dedication and commitment.

As we move forward, we are excited about what the future holds for Princess Park College. We remain committed to our mission of uplifting the quality of life by giving each learner a sound foundation to build a better future for all races. We look forward to continuing to empower our learners to achieve their full potential and make a positive impact on the world around them.
